Product and developer
Little Bear Puzzle is an offline game provided by individual developer Yuansong Cui, with picture puzzles, shape matching, object assembly, picnics and Chinese reading and writing activities. Children should play with a guardian’s guidance. No account, phone number, ads or in-app purchases are required. Updated November 2, 2026.
Progress and handwriting on this device
The app stores levels and stages, placed objects, completion records, rewards and collections, actual handwriting traces, preferences, break reminders and local usage time to resume play. Local identifiers and times serve the saved game, not cross-app identification. There is no developer cloud synchronization. These records are not uploaded for training, profiling or identifying users.
Optional microphone and local playback
Follow-reading requests system microphone permission to record a short take and play it back on this device. Recording and playback have visible states. Audio is never uploaded, used for voice identification or AI training, or graded. The iOS app uses temporary files excluded from backup; browser previews use transient memory. Audio is released after playback, cancellation, leaving the activity or entering the background. Native files are deleted, and any crash leftovers are cleared on the next launch. Permission can be declined and recording skipped without blocking other learning. Change microphone permission in device settings.
Transfers and third parties
Pictures, teaching audio, music and effects play locally. Play does not call online AI generation services. The app does not include advertising, cross-app tracking or developer analytics uploads and does not actively access location, contacts, photos, camera or advertising identifiers. Production tools do not receive player recordings or learning data. Apple provides its system features, store downloads, diagnostics and user-enabled device backups under its own policies.
Retention, deletion and backups
Progress and preferences remain until cleared or the app is deleted. My → Privacy & data → Data management provides separate actions to reset preferences, clear the current activity or clear activity and progress. Confirmations explain retained data; these actions retain parent protection and today’s usage time. Cancel changes nothing. There are no accounts to delete. iOS Offload App may retain data; Delete App removes local app data. Device backups and restores are controlled by device settings, and restoring a backup may restore progress. Temporary recordings are excluded from backup.
Children and parent controls
Children are not asked for names, birthdays, addresses or contact details. Arithmetic gates reduce unintended actions for a short session; they do not establish identity or legal guardianship. If a parent PIN and recovery code are set, only salted verification values are stored locally. External contact and destructive clearing are protected; ordinary follow-reading has no arithmetic gate. Local controls cannot prevent app deletion, device data changes or clock changes.
Contact and changes
Guardians may contact cuiyuansong@126.com for privacy, deletion or support. If you email us, we receive the address and message you choose to send, use them only as needed for your request, and delete or retain them afterward as applicable requirements require. Do not send unnecessary child identity information, photos or recordings. Email providers process email under their policies. Access and delete local records using the app and device settings. Material changes will be reflected in this policy and appropriate notices, with additional consent when legally required.
